My husband and I take pride in raising content, healthy and good natured Shibas. Dogs are a part of our family as well as special pets to us. Our Shibas are trained on the Invisible Fence System, which enables them to run safely and happily around the property. We also put up a physical fence, for added security, as Shibas can be escape artists.

I have lived with dogs all my life and acquired my first Shiba in 1991. I have been a member of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) since 1995 and I am on the board of directors of Shiba Inu Canada since its inception. Most recently I have become a member of the National Shiba Club of America and have gained valuable knowledge from highly reputable breeders of champion Shibas both in Canada and the US. I am honoured to be working with these breeders and their beautiful Japanese originated dogs.

This relationship will allow me to continue to enhance the quality of my Shiba dogs.

Although I have given up my teaching career to stay home with my dogs, I continue to learn as well as teach my knowledge and love for the Shiba Inu's. Visitors as well as inquiries are always welcome at Koyote Kennels.
